About Lauren's First and Goal
Lauren´s First and Goal Foundation was created in 2004 in honor of my cousin Lauren Loose. Lauren has cancer and brain tumors. LFG Foundation works to raise money for children and families that are living with cancer. Cancer is a serious kind of sickness. Doctors are not sure how you get cancer and cannot always cure it. LFG Foundation gives researchers money to research (learn about) how to prevent and cure cancer.
LFG is a group of volunteers who want to help find a cure for children's cancer. Hundreds of college and professional football coaches teach high school players how to play football better at LFG Football Camp. Each player that comes donates money to play and be coached. This helps raise thousands of dollars to research a cure for cancer. This adds up over time with almost $2 million raised overall.
